Rules and Requirements for the purchase of and Maintaining a Parking Pass at Timber Creek
1. In order to purchase a GENERAL pass for the current school year, the student must:
- be a junior or senior currently registered at Timber Creek HS.
- the student must have a miniamum cumulative 2.5 GPA
- Must be cleared of ALL obligations.
2. The parking pass must be displayed at all times while on campus.
3. Students with reserved spots are only allowed to park in the designated student parking lot and students are only allowed to park in his/her reserved parking space which is the same # as the student parking pass. No Exceptions. Students parking in a space not assigned to them, parking in an unauthorized area, or who do not move their vehicle at the time designated will forfeit pass and will be fined. Students with open GENERAL parking passes may choose any spot in the designated section that is available.
4. Parking passes are non-transferable, and therefore, the student is not allowed to give, to loan, or sell his/her parking pass to another student. Doing so will result in forfeiture of the pass. In such cases, the student will be responsible for purchasing another pass at the cost of the original pass. You must turn in another application if you begin using a new car.
5. You may only have a total of 2 cars on file.
6. No sitting in vehicles allowed at any time during the school day (including lunch).
Students must leave their cars immediately upon parking them on campus.
Students may not go into parking lot during the school day.
Students may not eat lunch in their cars
You will not be able to access books or materials stored in your vehicle during the day.
7. Administration has the right to suspend or revoke a parking pass for violation of school or district policy, including unexcused and/or excessive absences or tardies. Skipping School will result in a loss of Parking Privileges.
8. If a student has to forfeit their parking pass during the school year, TCHS will not refund the cost of purchase.
9. The student must follow the state, county, and city driving laws, including reporting accidents, following the posted speed limit, etc. Failure to follow driving laws will result in immediate suspension of the parking privilege.
10. The speed limit for the parking lot is 5 mph. Reckless or dangerous driving will result in revocation of pass.
11. PARKING PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
12. Report lost or stolen parking passes to TCHS Administration immediately. The cost of a replacement pass is $10 and the student will not be allowed to park on campus until a replacement pass is purchased.
